Our Services

Bringing Sight to Those Who Need It Most

At Sight to Nations Eyecare Foundation, we provide accessible, affordable, and comprehensive eye care services to underserved communities. Our mission is to eliminate preventable blindness and vision impairment, ensuring that children, adults, and the elderly can see clearly, learn effectively, and live independently.

Through our outreach programs, mobile clinics, and partnerships with schools and healthcare providers, we bring eye care directly to those who need it most.

Our Core Services

Comprehensive Eye Testing & Vision Screening

We conduct high-quality eye examinations for people of all ages, focusing on early detection of vision problems.

School-based screenings for learners from Grade 0 to Grade 12.

Community screenings for adults and the elderly in underserved areas.

Early identification of refractive errors and eye diseases, allowing timely intervention.

Spectacle Provision

For many families, the cost of prescription glasses is a barrier to clear vision. We provide:

Free or subsidised spectacles tailored to individual prescriptions.

Donated glasses for those who cannot afford them.

Replacement and follow-up support to ensure the right fit and comfort.

Diagnosis & Treatment of Common Eye Diseases

Our outreach clinics, staffed by qualified optometrists and ophthalmologists, diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as:

Conjunctivitis

Cataracts

Glaucoma

Other preventable or treatable eye diseases

Early treatment prevents vision loss and improves quality of life for individuals and families.

Referral & Linkage to Specialist Care

Some eye conditions require advanced treatment. We ensure continuity of care by:

Connecting patients to hospitals or specialist ophthalmologists.

Facilitating follow-up appointments and ongoing management.

Reducing the risk of patients being lost to care, ensuring better health outcomes.

Eye Health Promotion & Education

We believe that prevention is just as important as treatment. Our programs include:

Community awareness campaigns on eye health and preventive care.

School programs that teach learners about proper eye care habits.

Educational talks for parents, caregivers, and community members.

By empowering communities with knowledge, we help prevent avoidable vision problems before they start.

Our Approach

Our services are holistic and community-focused. We don’t just treat eye problems - we provide screening, treatment, education, and ongoing support, all delivered through mobile clinics and outreach programs that reach communities who would otherwise have no access to professional eye care.

Who We Serve

Children and learners struggling to see the classroom board clearly.

Adults of working age whose vision affects education, employment, and quality of life.

Elderly adults at risk of vision loss or already experiencing eye conditions.

People with disabilities or visual impairments, ensuring equity and inclusion.

The Impact of Our Services

Every screening, every pair of spectacles, every educational talk, and every referral has a profound effect:

A child can finally read the classroom board.

An adult can return to work or participate fully in the community.

Families can avoid the financial burden of untreated vision problems.
